Attaching the Game Boy Player to the Nintendo GameCube

Before You Begin:

• Properly install your Nintendo GameCube to your TV or VCR (click here if you need assistance).
• Disconnect the power cord from the Nintendo GameCube and remove all games.
• Have a coin or flat-bladed screwdriver available.
• If you are using a Nintendo GameCube Modem or Broadband Adapter, make sure it is installed before attaching the Game Boy Player.

To Attach the Game Boy Player:

1. Place the Nintendo GameCube upside down. Remove the High Speed Port cover from the bottom of the Nintendo GameCube and put this in a safe place for future use in the event the Game Boy Player is removed.



 

2. Install the Game Boy Player on the bottom of the Nintendo GameCube, inserting the High Speed Port Connector into the High Speed Port.

   

 

3. Tighten the attachment screws clockwise using a flat-bladed screwdriver or coin. Do not over-tighten.



4. Place the Nintendo GameCube upright and reconnect the power cord.
